They call themselves the "Miauw People". And every now and then they leave their mark all around town at public phones. Allthough they don't leave a phone number in order to contact them.
Archeologists and anthropologists are not sure whether they descend from a divine creature that was half man and half feline, or that they just worship a reigning cat queen, or that they are an ancient order that vowed to protect the legacy of Felix the Cat.
The Miauw People aren't conspicuous either: you'll only hear them by night, and even then they are hard to recognize. Sightings of members of this mysterious tribe have therefore been very rare.
If you do spot one, be sure to get an autograph. They aren't that photogenic.
